Altor and Bain Capital, the private equities that have bid for Cermaq's feed subsidiary Ewos, would be interested in resuming talks for an acquisition of Copeinca, reported the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv.
Altor liked the logic of a tie-up between Cermaq and Copeinca, Altor's director Hugo Maurstad told the newspaper, according to iLaks.
Altor and Bain have put in a bid of NOK 6.2 billion for Ewos, competing with Marine Harvest's existing bid for Cermaq (including Mainstream and Ewos) [...]
