Norsk Sjomat, the Norwegian salmon processor which warned it could have to temporarily lay off up to all its staff, has said no decision will be taken before January, reported the Norwegian broadcaster NRK.The company was initially due to make a decision on Dec. 20, but this has been postponed to Jan. 3, said NRK.Based in Stranda, a commune of some 2,500 inhabitants in More og Romsdal, mid-western Norway, Norsk Sjomat processes and smokes salmon and trout.
