Despite strong efforts on the part of Pacific Andes International Holdings, its employee retention rate among Chinese processing staff fell in 2013, with wages in China increasing strongly. Statistics in its sustainability report show that annual employment retention fell from roughly 65% in 2012 to around 58% in 2013 for processing staff in China.
