Alaska salmon forecast: Sockeye up 33%, overall run up 39%

Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) is predicting a harvest of 58.8 million sockeye salmon in 2015, up about 33% from last year's preliminary harvest number of 44m fish and 14% up from 2013. [...]
