NGO Food and Water Watch is taking another stab at getting the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to dismiss its consideration of AquaBounty Technologies' AquAdvantage Salmon, an application filed 20 years ago and delayed since 2010, when the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine determined the product was just as safe to eat as other salmon, according to the FDA Law Blog, which is posted by attorneys at at the firm Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C., the largest dedicated food and drug law firm in the country.
