Negative data releases from the US included Industrial Production MoM which fell to -0.6% where a fall from 0.1% to -0.3% was forecast and Capacity Utilization which also fell further than expected. The former was the first quarterly fall since the culmination of the recession, potentially indicating that a strengthening dollar and record low oil prices are taking their toll. Housing data on the other hand was positive with the NAHB index improving beyond estimates to 56 from the previous 52 [...]
