The IMFs negotiation team has left the discussion table in Brussels yesterday as the two sides fail again to make any progress over Greek debt arrangements that would help the country avoid default. IMF spokesman Gerry Rice in his statement to the press said “there are major differences between us in most key areas, there has been no progress in narrowing these difference recently”. This comes after the ECB increased the country’s emergency borrowing limit by EUR 2.3bn when an unnamed official declared that Greek banks had less than EUR700m left in cash reserves [...]
