The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is offering remedial training for producers of wild-caught catfish just days before the 18-month transition period for its new catfish inspection rule ends, Food Safety News reports. The agency has scheduled educational sessions Thursday in Memphis, Tennessee, and Webster, Florida.
