The US’s largest rainbow trout farmer Clear Springs Foods will see a leadership transition with two employees elevated ahead of the coming retirement of longtime CEO Larry Cope
Cope, the president, CEO and executive chairman of Buhl, Idaho-based Clear Springs Foods, will step down on March 1, ending a 44-year stint as part of the company's leadership.
Kurt Myers, the company's vice president of sales, marketing and global supply chain development, will take the reins as CEO. Jeff Jermunson, who has worked at the firm for 11 years, will be named chief operating officer on the same day.
Cope will remain on the company's board and as a strategic advisor.
