The huge, proposed new land-based salmon aquaculture project in Sweden is unique in its business model, as far as investor Lighthouse Finance is concerned, and to date the largest financial commitment the company has ever been involved in.
At an approximate cost of SEK 17 billion to SEK 20bn ($1.6-$1.9bn), the plan for the huge recirculating aquaculture system in Sotenas municipality -- on Sweden's western coast -- was first announced on March 19.
