Irving & Johnson (I&J), one of South Africa's largest cape hake fishing firms, believes the country's new quota allocation process for cape hake is unlikely to take place or disrupt any of its operations before the end of 2020, according to its annual financial report.
"The deadline for the hake long-term rights application process has been extended by a year and the process is not expected to impact on operations in the second semester [from June 1 - Dec. 31]" parent company AVI wrote [...]
