Florida-based seafood importer Netuno USA has acquired five vessels for the red snapper fishery off the coast of Northern Brazil, it announced.
The company said these vessels were faster to maneuver and more fuel-efficient than traditional fishing boats, and will serve towards its wider target of sourcing half of all its Caribbean red snapper imports from its own fleet by 2025.
