French agri-food group Fleury Michon expects it will have suffered a loss of €29 million-€33m in 2020 following a slowdown in airline catering and meal tray deliveries, reports Capital. The firm, which produces cold meats and surimi products, expects turnover to have fallen 1.6% to €735.4m. In the fourth quarter of 2020, turnover fell 11.5% year-on-year to €176.6m. French agri-food companies are asking for government aid to cover unsold stocks due to the pandemic, in particular through a tax credit and a stimulus plan.
