Dutch aquaculture investment fund Aqua-Spark has committed to launching a sizeable new $300 million fund to develop aquaculture in sub-Saharan Africa through which it hopes to overcome many of the challenges that have thus far put many investors off the region.
Announced alongside a new sector report on the continent's tilapia industry -- which can be downloaded and viewed here -- Aqua-Spark aims to begin with a dedicated $50m first round to the fund in the fourth quarter of 2021 [...]
