Energy shortages in China have pushed up aquafeed prices after Chinese government officials instructed at least one feed mill to reduce production to four days per week.
Tongwei Group, one of the largest aquafeed producers in China, informed its customers in Hunan province that pellet and extruded feed prices will increase CNY 150 per metric ton ($23.31/t) and CNY 160/t respectively. The new price offer comes into effect on Oct 15 [...]
