The Maine Lobstering Union (MLU) has dropped part of its lawsuit in Maine against the National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS) over the closure of a 960-square-mile section of the Gulf of Maine to the use of buoy lines on traps, reports News Center Maine, an NBC-affiliated television news station.
