UK-based whitefish trader Fastnet Fish has brought in an executive from Young's Seafood to replace industry veteran Andy Weightman, who is retiring.
Matthew Renshaw -- who spent the previous eight years in various roles with Young's, most recently as financial director -- will take over as managing director (MD) of Fastnet at the end of September, as Weightman steps down.
Renshaw and Weightman confirmed the situation to Undercurrent News but declined to comment further. According to his LinkedIn profile, Renshaw joined Fastnet in April as managing director designate.
An accountant by training, Renshaw started his career with Grimsby's Wilson Sharpe & Co in 2006, moving to PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2010. In 2014, he joined Young's, starting as a financial controller [...]
