Norway's frozen cod export prices climbed once again in week 40 (Oct. 3-9), as volumes on the market remain below the same level of 2021, according to the latest data from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
The average export price (free-on-board, Norwegian border) for frozen cod (03036301 and 03036303 customs codes, largely headed and gutted, or H&G) has been on the rise in recent weeks and climbed once again from NOK 53.4 per kilogram up to NOK 55.2 ($5.2)/kg in week 40, marking a return to the exceptionally high levels of August [...]
