Export prices for both fresh and frozen cod out of Norway came down from the previous week's record levels in week 42 (Oct. 17-23), although they remain significantly higher year-on-year, according to the latest data from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
The average export price (free-on-board, Norwegian border) for frozen cod (03036301 and 03036303 customs codes, largely headed and gutted, or H&G) saw a small correction in week 42 down to NOK 56.1/kg, after three successive weeks of increases.
