Alaskan golden king crab TAC set at 2,508tThe Alaska Department of Fish and Game has set its 2023/23 Aleutian Islands golden king crab total allowable catch (TAC) for the two management zones east and west of the 174th west meridian.
The TAC east of the meridian has been set at 3.72 million pounds (1,687 metric tons), while the TAC west of the meridian has been set at 1.81m lbs (821t), giving harvesters a combined 2,508t. Click here for the full story.
