Our most-read story of last week was the news that prices for North American lobster (Homarus americanus) have continued their freefall, with the downward trend spreading more from the docks to live lobster exports and also frozen tails and meat sold at wholesale.
Also dropping were wholesale prices for snow crabs caught in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and with only a little more than half the quota landed, that was an indication that a further price slide could be coming [...]
