Northline Seafoods' 400-foot floating barge is still operating and processing salmon, even if at a diminished capacity, while anchored in Bristol Bay, in the US state of Alaska, the company confirmed on July 2.
Undercurrent News reported earlier in the day that the Hannah, a 400-foot vessel owned by the Bellingham, Washington-based company, was sidelined from being able to process sockeye salmon after experiencing an electrical fire under one of its spiral freezers on June 30.
