A federal judge in the US state of Alaska has approved a request from the Groundfish Forum, which represents the Amendment 80 fleet, to expedite a decision in its lawsuit against the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) over a new rule implemented to minimize halibut bycatch in the Bering Sea ahead of the upcoming fishing season [...]
