BioFish Holding, a leading producer of large smolt for the Norwegian salmon farming sector, has announced a significant agreement with a new industry player.
The deal involves the delivery of approximately 170,000 to 180,000 post-smolt, each weighing between 250 and 300 grams, scheduled for the second half of August 2024.
"This agreement is another recognition of our solid track record of consistently delivering robust, high-quality smolt and post-smolt to satisfied customers," said BioFish CEO Sondre Hagerup Johnsrud. He added that the deal, secured with a new customer, includes plans to develop a long-term collaboration.
However, neither Johnsrud nor the company disclosed the identity of the new customer.
