A former Norwegian aquaculture farm manager has been charged with the murder of Finnish hockey player and reality TV star Janne Puhakka, reports Kyst.
Rolf Nordmo has been publicly named by the paper as having confessed to the murder of Puhakka, which was originally detailed in a press release from the Finnish police. Nordmo has also been named in the Norwegian newspapers Nettavisen and Dagbladet, and Finland's Helsingin Sanomat.
He was formerly a veterinary inspector at Norway's Ministry of Agriculture, helped to establish the Veso Vikan research station in Namsos, and was CEO of AquaGen from 2014 to 2016.
He then served as managing director of Aquaculture Innovation between 2017 and 2021, subsequently running a consultancy company, Aqua Mar, out of the Finnish capital Helsinki.
