Chris Maze's exit from the US arm of Spain's Grupo Nueva Pescanova is part of a broader reshuffle that has seen seafood veteran Keith Decker brought in to troubleshoot.
Decker will be in the position for a temporary period at Florida-based Pescanova USA, between two and six months, as part of an effort to help make the US division more profitable and get it under budget, sources told Undercurrent News during last week's Global Seafood Market Conference.
They said there will also be a 25% cut to Pescanova USA's already small staff of 24 full-time employees [...]
