UK firms Aquascot and Nissui Corp.-owned Flatfish have partnered to supply retailer Waitrose and Partners with a new ready-to-cook range.

The "Simply Bake & Serve" range is designed to offer consumers a "hassle-free way to prepare high-quality fish at home," said salmon and trout supplier Aquascot, whose main business is selling to Waitrose.

The range features a selection of hand-finished fish dishes cooked "en papillote," which seals the fish in parchment paper to lock in moisture and enhance flavor. The collection includes salmon, haddock, and cod, catering to diverse tastes.

"As a leading supplier of Scottish salmon and trout to Waitrose, Aquascot played a key role in product development, ensuring high quality and sustainability standards. Flatfish, the primary whitefish supplier, also contributed to the range's variety," Aquascot said.

According to the firm, the launch aligns with Aquascot's commitment to providing premium, sustainable seafood while making home cooking more convenient.

The range is now available at Waitrose stores.
