Construction of a 35-acre RAS shrimp farm in China

Chinese shrimp company Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products is building one of China's first shrimp farms using recirculated aquaculture systems (RAS). Undercurrent News visited the $76 million, 35-acre farm in Zhanjiang on Sept. 15, when the farm was about a third complete. Photos in the last third of the gallery are of Guolian's new processing facility, also under construction.
