Sainsbury’s revamps seafood range

UK retailer J. Sainsbury has re-vamped its private label seafood range, which coincides with the move from Young's Seafood as a salmon supplier to Marine Harvest.

Marine Harvest is now supplying a range of chilled, smoked and value-added salmon products to Sainsbury's, but Young's is still helping out with the main volume product, the two two fillet chilled pack, until the end of November.

In addition to the win for Marine Harvest, Thistle Seafoods, New England Seafood International, Blue Earth Foods, Interfish and Dawnfresh Seafoods are supplying new products for the retailer's private label range.
