A subsidiary of the Chinese technology and investment giant Legend Holdings has trebled revenues and doubled profits following its investment in one of China's largest pollock processors, Qingdao Starfish Foods.
Revenues at Agri-Joyvio, which is controlled through Legend’s agricultural investments arm Joyvio Group, hit CNY 1.93 billion ($287 million), up 235% compared with 2017, while net profits increased 109% to CNY 47.8m, according to preliminary full-year results filed at the Shenzhen stock exchange on Friday (Feb 22.)
