Norway exported 181,400 metric tons of seafood with a value of NOK 8.7 billion ($1bn) in May; up 3% year-on-year, said the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
So far this year, seafood exports have totaled NOK 43.3bn, up 8%.
