The first six months of 2019 have been the most successful half-year on record in terms of value for Norway's seafood exports, according to data from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
In total, the country exported 1.3 million metric tons of seafood at an export value of NOK 51.2 billion ($6bn) in the first half of the year. This marked a 13% drop in volumes but thanks to relative price hikes, an increase in value of 7% against the same period in 2018 [...]
