Greece's second largest producer of bass and bream has just announced that it is officially changing its name from G. & P. Bitsakos Aquaculture to Philosofish, the company said in a press statement on Feb. 13.
The firm has chosen to replace its trade name with its flagship brand name, to highlight its guiding principles, which are summed up in the motto, “your wellbeing, our philosophy".
With the new name, the company means to reaffirm its commitment to "holding ourselves to the highest standards of quality, freshness, sustainability, and customer satisfaction," it said.
Philosofish, owned by investment firm Diorasis International, won with its bid for "virtually all" of the assets spun-off to allow Greece's bass and bream mega-merger -- Andromeda Seafood's merger with Nireus Aquaculture and Selonda Aquaculture -- to go ahead [...]
