Terry Paul, chief of the Membertou in Nova Scotia, has stepped down from his role as co-chair of the Assembly of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw Chiefs as talks related to the start of an off-season lobster fishery in lobster fishing area 34 have broken down, the CBC reports.
