Ocean Choice’s downstream push in Europe could feature M&A

Canada's Ocean Choice International (OCI) may look at acquisitions in order to move further downstream in Europe as it ramps up contract processing in several plants, the company's CEO told Undercurrent News. The addition of Helgi Anton Eiriksson, the former CEO of Iceland Seafood International, to the management board of OCI's new downstream company in Europe is part of a strategy to get closer to customers, Martin Sullivan told Undercurrent.
