The US Illegal Fishing and Forced Labor Prevention Act introduced late Tuesday by representatives Jared Huffman and Garret Graves would expand the Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP) to include all species among other changes as part of an effort to crack down on illegal, unregulated and unreported (IUU) fishing as well as human rights abuses in the seafood supply chain.  [...]
