Salmon farmer Mowi has acquired fellow north Norway-based Lofoten Aqua, bringing it one additional aquaculture license worth 796 metric tons of maximum allowable biomass, it said.
"Region North" is Mowi's most efficient region when it comes to production costs, and the acquisition is in line with its recent strategy update, "whereby Mowi Farming will pursue farming growth through accretive acquisitions when this fits with its operational strategy", it said [...]
