Norwegian land-based fish farmer Nordic Aquafarms has Asia as its next target continent for what would be a fifth planned recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) worldwide, according to CEO Bernt-Olav Rottingsnes.
The RAS manufacturer and farmer has flown under the radar somewhat when compared to other firms such as Atlantic Sapphire and Pure Salmon, but already has 58,000 metric tons of combined capacity targeted across two operational farms in Denmark and a pair of planned farming projects in the US [...]
