The Danish fishing ministry has said it expects "extremely difficult negotiations" between EU members during the meeting to determine 2022's catch quotas, taking place from Dec. 12-13.
The EU plans to stop fishing for eel and lower quotas for cod stocks in the vicinity of the major Danish fishing port of Kattegat.
