Export prices for frozen whitefish out of Norway in week 18 (May 2-8) are continuing to climb towards record heights, while fresh prices remain stubbornly high, according to the latest data from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
Starting with fresh cod data, export volumes are down from the previous few months but still relatively high at the tail-end of the fishing season, with 1,338 metric tons sold in week 18, down slightly from the 1,584t exported in the same week last year [...]
