BERGEN, Norway -- Simon Smith, the outgoing CEO of Young's Seafood, estimates the cost of living crisis has already wiped £500 million ($614m) off UK seafood sales, speaking during the whitefish summit at the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) in Bergen, Norway.
As seafood product prices continue to increase, a further £100m could come off the market, he said, during the whitefish summit at the NASF. "So, these are big numbers."
