Norwegian aquaculture equipment maker AKVA Group has signed a €14.3 million (€14.5m) deal to supply Cooke Aquaculture's new post-smolt salmon facility in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The order has come in from Kelly Cove Salmon, Cooke's Nova Scotia-based subsidiary that produces farmed Atlantic salmon across twelve marine aquaculture sites, Akva said in a stock exchange filing. Kelly Cove is building a new $56.8m land-based salmon hatchery near Centreville on Digby Neck [...]
