Norwegian frozen cod prices creep to new record high in week 28Even as temperatures break records across Europe, so too have Norwegian frozen cod prices climbed to another new record high, according to the latest Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) data for week 28 (July 11-17).
Frozen cod prices (free-on-board, FOB, Norwegian border) have now passed NOK 55/kg for the second time this year, NSC data shows. The organization has the latest prices at a staggering NOK 55.57 ($5.45)/kg, a remarkable 60% increase year-on-year. Click here for the full story.
