The Lobster Council of Canada (LCC) has responded to last week's announcement by the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program that it has lowered the rating it gives North American lobster (Homarus americanus), snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) and other species to red or "avoid" by saying the new scores for lobster do "not accurately reflect significant action by Canadian lobster harvesters and the Department of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard (DFO) and Transport Canada" [...]
