Norway's frozen cod export prices saw an uptick in week 39 (Sept. 26-Oct. 2), as the country's two main markets reacted to a drop in supply over the last fortnight according to the latest data from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
The latest average export price (free-on-board, FOB, Norwegian border) for frozen cod (03036301 and 03036303 customs codes, largely headed and gutted, or H&G) climbed during the most recent week in the NSC's database, lifting from NOK 51.9/kg up to NOK 53.4/kg ($5.06), and continuing this summer's record price plateau [...]
