Iberconsa in talks to buy rival Mascato, create $740m-turnover powerhouseMajor Spanish fishing firm Iberconsa is in talks to buy rival seafood supplier Mascato in a deal that would be the biggest in its history. The talks between Iberconsa, known more formally as Grupo Iberica Congelados, and Mascato, which like its rival are both headquartered in Vigo Spain, are ongoing, according to Spanish newspaper Faro de Vigo.
