The US state of Texas has been awarded $8.2 million for a large-scale oyster restoration project.

The funding, provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office of Habitat Conservation, comes amidst a decline in marketable oyster numbers for the US state, as reported by Undercurrent News [...]
