AquaGen commissions its Profunda salmon egg facillity in Norway

AquaGen invited a group of customers, industry colleagues and reporters to the official opening of its Profunda broodstock and egg facility in Orsta, Norway on Monday, Aug. 21. AguaGen aims to achieve pathogen free status recognized by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) by 2025 to sell pathogen free Atlantic salmon eggs to international markets. The partial recirculation facility was designed by Artec Aqua.
