Behind the scenes at Channel Fish Processing in Boston
Shortly after the 2015 Seafood Expo North American trade show, Boston-based Channel Fish Processing opened its doors to Undercurrent News for a look at the fresh and frozen seafood wholesale supplier’s processing operations.
The family owned company, founded in 1946, buys from New England boats and imports from Canada, Iceland, Norway and Chile.
The company, which also has a trading arm, sells 90% of its product into the US market to supermarkets, chain restaurants and institutions like schools. It exports the remainder.
