An offshore pen is built in China
Offshore oil and gas services firm De Maas has designed its first offshore aquaculture pen. Measuring 140 meters in diameter, it is one of the largest aquaculture pens in the world.
In November 2019, Undercurrent News visited Changhong International shipyard in Zhoushan, China, where the pen was in the final stages of construction.
